What's a good acne cream/wash that won't dry out my face?

Something cheap you can buy at Target/Walmart

Everything I try just dries out my skin. What's a good acne cream/wash that won't dry out my face?
Consider the excessively-named ';Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Control 3-in-1 Hydrating Acne Treatment'; as an option for daily treatment. This was widely considered to be one of the best acne treatments available, and works best to prevent acne before it starts, and to prevent minor acne from becoming more serious. What's a good acne cream/wash that won't dry out my face?
the neutragina stuff works well, just put it on at night, wash your face in the morning, apply small amounts of moisterizer as to not counteract the effects of the acne cream, and wash your face when you come home with neutragina acne pads. also do not take very hot showers because this makes your face very dry! if that does not work you can go to your doctor and they can give you seperate day and night acne creams.
go see a derm, they are the only ones who know what they are talking about. Here's a secret: stores like Target and Walmart add fillers to their creams, washes, and any other products to lengthen their shelf life. That's not the kind of stuff you want to be putting on your skin.
i use Noxzema. I love, love, love it. Everything i used, like clean and clear, nuetrogena, etc., dried my skin out and almost burned when i used it. But, nozxema cleans very good. i never break out!! It's only $5 at walgreens and walmart.Your skin will not dry out from this.
Aloe vera gel, it saved my skin....

I use Pan Oxyl face wash and I was wondering if you can use the cream kind as an overnight spot treatment.?

just dabbing a little on a zit and leaving it overnight.I use Pan Oxyl face wash and I was wondering if you can use the cream kind as an overnight spot treatment.?

10 POINTSWhat is the best face wash?
I use clean %26amp; clear shine control face wash its about 拢4-拢5 at you can get it in asda, tesco, boots, super drug and most places

hope this helped

xWhat is the best face wash?
I use Olay daily facial cleansing wipes or the regeneration ones. It's about 拢3-拢5 for a box of 25 or 30 but they are great, just add water and instant lather.

I'd recommend cutting them into four tho and using just one of two at a time as they go a long way =o) Technically if you cut them up, they last longer so you could have like 100 days worth of wipes for just 拢5.00.

  • What is the best face wash to make my skin cleaarrr!?!?!?!?

If your skin is rough, try something exfoliating. I like the neutrogena wave. It makes my face really soft and clear! What is the best face wash to make my skin cleaarrr!?!?!?!?
i use Checks and Balances frothy face wash from origins...its awesome

but to get smooth skin you have to use a good mousterizer

just buy a heavy duty moisturizerWhat is the best face wash to make my skin cleaarrr!?!?!?!?
i use neutrogena make-up remover and acne wash and it kinda works...but i really need to tell you that after 4-5 times of using it...it has NO magic left in it ANYMORE !
You should use face scrub, I just use normal Boots brand, you dun needa spend too much on it. It gets out all the dirt %26amp; stuff out of your pores %26amp; it leaves your skin looking clear %26amp; soft =D

Can i put my north face backpack in the wash machine.?

i use it for school. today my soda exploded in it and its smells. i don't know if i am able to. can you please just let me know thanks you so much. =]

this is the backpack that i have

http://www.thenorthface.com/opencms/open鈥?/a>Can i put my north face backpack in the wash machine.?
This one you can wash in the machine, BUT, use cold water and the most gentle cycle. Make certain all of the detergent has dissolved in the water before you put it inside out in the water. Use the soak cycle first, then let it go through the shortest wash cycle. Check it in the spin cycle, my washer doesn't change the time for the spin cycle no matter how short the wash cycle, so I've had to stop it midway through to remove the backpack so that the nylon mesh part doesn't get too beat up.

If you have a dryer rack, use that so that the drum turns but the backpack stays stationary on the rack (you can also use the mesh bag that attaches to the door but it takes a lot longer to dry and you have to keep changing the backpack's position in it to thoroughly dry it). I use the delicate or air dry setting on the dryer and it usually takes 40-50 minutes to dry, but I turn it right side out half way through. Can i put my north face backpack in the wash machine.?
Yes, but I would wash on gentle and air dry.
I would think you could machine wash it. Machine washing is not usually the problem with such things, it's the dryer that'll do the damage. I'd recommend air drying it.

Thank goodness it's the weekend. Wash it now, and you've got 2+ days to let it dry

Hm... Anyone who have used molton brown products such as showergels, face wash, soaps how do u find it?

you can buy them in debenams, house of fraser heals ect..

What's a moisturizing, mild, acne cleansing face wash :)?

I want a moisturizing and mild acne cleanser that I can use every day without any harsh ingredients and won't dry out my face! I also want it to make pimples smaller and acne less visible. Please help? What's a moisturizing, mild, acne cleansing face wash :)?
A cleanser does only that - it cant also moisterize, and kill bacteria and shrink pores, thats asking too much.

I'm endorsing the cetaphil, unless you need to remove make-up, then I would use oil of olay sensitive skin foaming face wash (in the tube) it works well also. Neither is drying, which is about the best you can hope for when you have acne, and neither will conteract your acne medications.

Good luckWhat's a moisturizing, mild, acne cleansing face wash :)?
    Cetaphil or Unicure
Those things do not mix. Acne medication is drying. Get a face wash that says noncomedogenic, that won't cause pimples. I've used Eucerin sensitive face wash before, that moisturizes pretty good. But your best bet is to wash with whatever you like, and use a facial moisturizer afterwards. Clean and Clear makes one that's medicated, called dual action moisturizer, so you're treating acne and moisturizing at the same time. I use a bunch of different things that gives me the best results, but it's different for everyone. If you care, I use a salicylic acid wash, the dual action moisturizer I mentioned before, 2% salicylic acid gel on acne prone areas, 10% benzoyl peroxide on oily areas, and a spot of the salicylic gel on each pimple. Or if I'm going on a date, maybelline makes a concealer that's medicated too.

I recently purchased Oxy cleansing pads, Oxy face wash, and Oxy spot treatment.?

I know this may sound weird but I have relation who did this and it worked wonders. He is also in his twenties. He washed his face twice a day with toothpaste-never scrubbed, just rubbed and rinsed. He did not need to use a moiturizer and it cleared up his skin. Good luck.
try proactiv, my husband has the same problem and it really works for him....your about the same age
    Try ProActive.

If you already have....try a Dermatologist.
That's the reason why u're breaking out so much. Scrubs are only to be used once a week or so. Scrubbing too much makes ur skin produce extra oil that makes you break out. So try the new Clinique acne solutions kit. It's a foaming cleanser, a toner, and moisturizer. These dont over-dry or leave ur skin oily. U use these once in the morning and once at night. No more scrubbing! :) good luck!

I have acne too and this works for me: put some boiling water in a container, tilt your head and top of it and put a towel on your head so that the heat does not escape between your face and water. This is affective as it opens your pores and so when you wash your face, you not only clear the exterior of your skin but also in the pores! (ps. it's dirty pores that give you acne so it's quite effective and I'm talking through experience) However this isn't enough with most acne! Buy some surgical spirit (very cheap and easy to find), pour some on some cotton wool and dab on your face but only the oily part like your T zone! I also wash my face with simple deep cleanser since it cleans tones and moisturizes! Hope I helped! Good luck!

    Face wash which is good?

I recently had a facial (a rare one off) and they told me not to use clean and clear anymore, because it is drying out my skin. Of course, their alternative cost about 拢30.

Can anyone recommend a good facewash, which I won't have to take out a bank loan for?

    Thanks :)

I have dry skin, but it gets oily really easily.Face wash which is good?
try the simple products called simple facial foamFace wash which is good?
Yeah, try not to stick with products that contain alcohol, because those are not natural ingredients. Believe it or not, you'll see that you can benefit from products that may cost way less than what you've paid for. First, buy yourself a natural soap that contains olive, avocado, or oatmeal. Don't invest in expensive department store soaps that are equivalent to sulfur soaps used to wash clothing by hand. I'm not saying that those are bad; yet those soaps are ideal for people who have acne (I use it once in a while). You may want to try Burt's Bees products, or make yourself an avocado, honey, and egg white n sugar mask once or twice a month. Try not to get so many extractions when you get your facials; because your skin will always be needing them. Love your skin! Good luck.
Look, you have to stop worrying about the price of things and understand that the cheap stuff is not going to help you. I remember when I was told to get some expensive shampoo, I freaked out and said no. Today, I regret getting the cheap stuff because I know the other stuff would have helped a lot. You have to set your priorities straight and decide if you really want your skin to feel good or if you just wanna save on everything.

Look at this site: http://beauty.about.com/od/skinflaws/a/f鈥?/a> They have a list for different skin types, and since you did not mention yours, which would be crucial at finding you the right one, I can't really help there. Be careful when you buy them because it's your skin, not ours.
The only thing I can recommend is Mary Kay Time Wise. Ok, I am not trying to sell you Mary Kay and I find all those sales associates to be SUPER annoying, but that stuff really works. My face is VERY dry and always flaking and then I used this and I swear to you it saved my adorable face :) A lot of people ask me how I keep my skin so healthy. No one believes me when I say Mary Kay because they think Im being sarcastic but I am dead serious. You should try it if you can!

    Good Luck!
I wash my face with Protex soap everyday( first with warm water and then I rinse it with cool water) and Lemon scrub once a week.My skin is oily but after washing my face I moisturize it to prevent my skin to have open holes.
Doesnt matter which kind, just get anything for sensitive skin. It wont be the best, but it will still work. Plus sensitive skin ones wont dry out your skin

I perfer St Ives Apricot Scrub. It cleans but without drying your clean out so bad.
I use just regular Dove soap bar and it works fine for me, does not dry out my skin.

How do I get rid of them?
How is your diet? Are drinking lots of water? Eating fruits? That has helped me.I wash my face with clearisil and put on cream yet I still have acne . How do I get rid of them?
Its a part of growing up you cant get rid of it you can control it that's about it wash your face everyday
I got ProActive, and it works great, you should try it!
Go to a good doctor and ask for a prescription of antibiotics!
you may be cleaning too much, try doing it every three days, or try seeing a doctor, two of my kids have had acne, my oldest son had it so bad, he had purple spots, doctors can give you a prescription and be assured it probably will go away after age about 21.
I hear ya. I think that stuff is pure crap and expensive too.

Try witch hazel on a cotton ball or those cosmetic pads instead to clean your face. Ivory soap is really good to believe it or not. Generic benzol peroxide (spelling?) for day time use is good.
I hear Proactive is really good, but the best thing I've found is going to a tanning salon. Clears the acne up in no time, plus you get a great tan.

Be careful of the cream, it may be what's causing the acne to reappear. I can't put any creams or lotions on my face, not even the ones that are supposed to be helpful.

Philosophy? Is Purity Face Wash any good?

I have acne-prone oily skin. I recently started to breakout horribly around my cheek. Is gross i know. So is purity made simple by philosophy and good. or is there any other recommendations that will help me. ThanksPhilosophy? Is Purity Face Wash any good?
I love Purity... I use the proactive acne lotion along with it a couple of times a week (My face is much better) and so much softer and healthy looking. It actually melts the makeup off of your skin... it feels really clean after wards

Don't use the full proactive line.. it is too harsh on your skin, but you can buy the repair lotion without buying the whole kit

This is the best place to buy the Purity... it's a huge bottle for in the shower or by the sink

A face wash that works well, and isn't expensive where i can get it from a drugstore. right now i'm using nutregeana daily acne wash scrub.Whats the best face wash?
It really depends on you, everyone is different. What might work on me might not work on you.

Severe Acne Free works for me.

It sounds horrible, like you must be breaking out but it really works. My sister and I used to use ProActive but I then discovered Acne Free Severe at a local drugstore (Wal-Mart) It works really well to reduce existing acne and stop acne from comming. It's basically like ProActive exept better and cheaper.Whats the best face wash?
what i usually do is make chamomile tea and let it cool then apply it to my face with a wash cloth.
my sister started to use wet wipes after washing face with simple water. then i made same believe me results really great. skin become more clean and so soft!

dont use scrub so much. scrubs have very rude and sharp ingredients inside which tearing soft skin.
I use Olay daily scrub and dail moistorizer by them also. It works wonders on my skin! I've tried almost everything and I'm most happy with this product.
Ok, go to Trader Joes and get the face wash called ';Kiss My Face.'; Really really really really good and it's really cheap too. Also, St. Ives Peace Scrub is really nice too.
    Noxema
Try spectro-jel, it is the best it is pretty cheap and you can get it in the drugstore
well it depends on what type of skin you have. i have dry/oily in the summer and dry in the winter. so i use Dove in the winter and clean 'n clear in the summertime.
    Cetaphil works great for me!
Cetaphil, or use the generic kind same ingredients
dove sensitive or safe guard soap

Is it bad to wash your face with hot water?

    If only hot water, yeah.

Use hot water and cold water. First use hot water, because it opens up your pores, so they're cleaned better. Then use cold water to rinse your face off. This closes your pores back up, making them smaller and less noticable. Is it bad to wash your face with hot water?
depends on the temp if it burns the back of your hand or doesn't feel comfertble it will probably not be so good for you face but if you washing for acne its encouraged to use warm/hot water b/c it opens up the pores im not sure about if you have acid or burns or anything like thatIs it bad to wash your face with hot water?
It's good if you're using face wash because it opens the pores and lets the soap in. But make sure you rinse your face with cold water. It closes your pores so less bacteria gets in. :)
uses warm room temp. water, dont use the samer washcloth over and over again tho cuz u jsut spread the oil and makeup back onto ur face (very bad 4 ur pores) its better 2 just wash ur hands b4 u wash ur face. and its better 4 some skin if u just use ur hands. washclotes r scratchy. -twickers
No you have to or else you wont even clean your face...hot water opens the pores and cold water closes them...but obviously not so hot that your like in pain...LOL
not as long as you splash your face afterwards with cold water...i have heard it seals your pores
no it's good. makes your face cleaner

Is it ok to wash my face with water only (no cleanser or soap used) as many times as i want?

will water cause the oil glands to produce more oil or is there nothing against water? i have oily skin and i plan to wash my face everytime to get that grease. is it ok to wash often as long as its just water that i use?Is it ok to wash my face with water only (no cleanser or soap used) as many times as i want?
it safe. but after that use some cream so ur skin wont b dry!

happy waterin! Is it ok to wash my face with water only (no cleanser or soap used) as many times as i want?
do u live in Puerto rico?? well if you constantly wash your face i'd think it would dry it...i dont know, your always going to have oil in your face...it's just inevitable...
Tust me, i know water! ok water will NOT hurt your face or make the oil glands more oily. so using JUST water is fine, however, your face would not break out as much if you used a cleanser once a day. personally i use Clean %26amp; Clear oil free Continuous Control Acne Wash. which you can get at like Walmart, CVS, Target.... Its awesome. I think if you use a cleanser (or even just some bar soap on a washcloth) once a day and water whenever you feel the need, youll be good to go. so back to answering your main concern. using just water will be fine b/c it is SOOO good for your skin to be moisturized (sp?) but using a cleanser would help even more. hope i could help.
If your face is oily it is better to use a special cleanser. Water won't get the oil out of your pores and you will break out and have bacteria on your skin that water won't kill.
well, you'll dry out yer skin. try moisturizing it.
You will not get your face clean with just water (remember water and oil don't mix), so I recommend you use a MILD cleanser such as Cetaphyl. It's very mild but gets the job done!
Its kinda like trying to clean a greasy frypan with just cold water...Its not gonna happen...Use a mild cleanser and even tho you have oily skin use a moistuiser for your skin type so your glands dont have to overwork and do the job themselves.
    yeah i do it works
yes it is. it is ok to use soap also. just find something mild and pH balanced.
    sure is !
Washing your face with just water is fine, but it can dry your skin out. Plus, it isn't really ';washing';... as the dirt/makeup/etc trapped in your pores is still present. Try washing your face with regular or Aloe Ivory. It's mild and 99.44% pure.
Yes, it's okay but it's not going to really *wash* your face...only rinse it. I would suggest using an oil-free cleanser (like Neutrogena) and using oil-absorbing sheets throughout the day to get any excess oil.
yes it's fine. you could also try cetaphil. it's very mild.
well, it's not really washing then is it?
You need to get the oil out of your pores. Try a warm towel to open your pores and let the oil out, then wash with a mild soap and dry your face softly. You can do this each morning and again at night. I don't think plain water will do anything to help your oily skin.
since water will probably not do the trick alone, because water and oil do not mix, i would recommend using a facial cleanser once or twice a day. definetly not soap 'cause that will dry your skin.
    water is pure.

    so what do you think?

    yes its ok......
You can wash with water as often as you like but it will not remove oil, so your face would still feel dirty after
It's just a waste of time washing your face with only water. You should use cleanser if you want to keep your face clean and refreshed. I use cleanser every morning and before I go to sleep. When i do my face feels refreshed. Only useing water wont help anything.
water dries out your skin too, it does not lubricate it. so yes, it can cause your glands to act up, but not as much as regualr face wash. however, i have learned the hard way that using just water can give you more pimples because it just rinses the dirt around without cleaning it....

And to the water is pure guy, there is usually chlorine (drying) and other stuff in your tap water, so unless you are washing with Evian...
no it is fine but to help wash with soap bar it will help
How To How to Wash An Oily Face

    1. Wash your face and neck morning and night. Washing more often than this will only cause the sebaceous glands to produce more oil. That is not what you want to happen.

    2. If you think that your cleanser could be part of the problem, perhaps it is time to try something new. Look for a product that is gentle. It usually says so right on the bottle. You might also ask your doctor or dermatologist to suggest a brand to try.

    3. Splash warm water over your face and then add a little cleanser to your hands. Work into a lather and then massage your face. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. There should be no soap residue left on your skin. Most importantly, never use hot water.

    4. Using a soft clean towel, blot the water from your face. A clean towel is extremely important, as a used towel could be a breeding ground for bacteria.

    5. Apply a sunscreen that is oil-free.

    TIPS :

There are a lot of things that will trigger the oil glands. Hormones, hot weather and even some foods are known culprits.

Your cleansing routine should include your neck as this is an area that is very prone to blemishes even though the area does not seem to be oily.

If you find that your face is oily again by lunch time, use oil blotting papers to soak up the oil. Do not be tempted to re-wash your face.
I never use soap or cleanser on my face, I believe that it causes more oil.

since you actually dyed the top layer of your skin the best way to get rid of the dye is to get rid of the top layer of your skin. A simple facial scrub will do the trick it always works for me. Store bought or homemade ( honey and sugar) either one will do.
nothing really, try some lemon juice or a good face scrub and moisturise after. what u should do is put vaseline along your hairline before dying hair, or even make up- then it wont contact your skin.
Windex works 2 get off mystik tan so it might work 4 dye... if not try alchol but that will sting a lil

Is Dove body wash okay for the face?

I've been using the dove ';beauty bar'; on my face for some time now. I was wondering if the dove beauty body wash for sensitive skin was okay to use on the face too?Is Dove body wash okay for the face?
it is okay to use on the face, but it does not clear acne like other face washes are intended to. it wont do any damage to your skin, and it will wash away the dirt and makeup so go ahead. :)Is Dove body wash okay for the face?
soap and things like that strip oil from your face and even if they contain a moisturiser, the best thing is a good facewash. I highly reccomend Philosopy face wash!
    yes my sister

Try Clinique's TAKE THE DAY OFF (which is gentle enough for eyes/lips/face). All you need is a cotton to remove the hard to take off waterproof make up .If you want to wash your face to remove the make up..use RINSE OFF FOAMING CLEANSER...You just need a pea size amount to wash your whole face...you feel so clean after that! It's really good for it's $$$

    Good luck!

-CosmetologistAny Good Make-up remover and Face Wash?
use Philosophy Purity Made Simple...you won't be disappointed and you will never use anything else. you will be amazed at the make-up it removes...what you should do is use your regular make-up remover, then use Purity to see how much your regular make-up remover left behind...you can buy it for $8 at sephora...the trial size
theres a new franchise of stores that is called LUSH. its basically a natural soaps and scrubs shop that is, as previously stated, all natural. what i recommend is a pink xfoliating soap called ';Angels on Bare Skin';. it works wonders.
I like Liz Earle's Cleanse and Polish which is a cream you massage onto face and eyes and polish off with a muslin cloth. It makes your skin feel really smooth and fresh. Not the cheapest but it lasts and really works.

that one is so good and so inexpensive!!!! i swear by it
its a equate version but it comes in a baby wipe container n you can buy the refills but it works really good and makes your face feel soft you can find it at walmart

I use the estee lauder eye make up remover, it gets all the make up off, and will keeps bags from under your eyes! (:
I use the mac make up remover wipes, they work very well.
the nuetrogena wave is really good for taking off makeup
(On my dads account) Johnsons baby wipes are miracle workers!!

  • Can anyone suggest me a good face wash for oily skin.?

I love Dermalogica's dermaclay cleanser. It helps control oil throughout the day and it isn't too drying. It's nice because it's for oily skin, not necessarily pimply skin. Can anyone suggest me a good face wash for oily skin.?
i have very oily skin and use a mix. i exfoliate with clean and clear blackhead scrub, even though i don't have blackheads, cause i like how it opens my pores and clears the grease away. then after that i use nutregena clarifying mask/cleaner. i use it more like a mask while i'm shaving my legs it sends sensations through my face and makes it feel super clean. haven't found a solution for keeping my face oil free through the day though. good luckCan anyone suggest me a good face wash for oily skin.?
if u r in India i would suggest use: Saffire face wash for oily skin its NATUROMA product...right now am using this...this is Rs 70,...believe me all Naturoma products are good including hair fall hair oil, facewash ,moisturizer...

    2) himalaya neem face wash...i have used it..but Naturoma is best

    3) ayur face was: lemon, green tea,

    4) everyouth face wash i have used all these product...

u can use lakhme matt perfect...but my skin becomes dull..no shine...so i have stoped using this

    Biore Triple Action Astringent 鈥?http://www.biore.com/usa/products/comple鈥?/a>

I have oily skin and use both these products and they have been working great, much better than anything i've used before. During the day I use Maybelline Pure Makeup its supposed to be shine free and it works well. To absorb oil I blot with blotting sheets. For a cheap way to do it the toilet protectors in public restrooms work awesome for this and so convenient since they're in the bathroom already you can blot while you pee hehe ;) Can also use a oil absorbing powder after.

    Good luck!
Definitely. I use a cleanser/toner combination. I use Kepaya (papaya based). cleanser followed by Savila toner both by Coonobabe. This combination leaves my skin clean to the touch, without the super drying that acne cleansers use to do on my skin. Goolge Coonobabe, plus they ship it 4 free, each costs $12. Hope this helps.
Continuously Clear Daily Ritual Cleanser ,this one is very good, after washing ,it leaves your skin feeling tight and fresh, and it can wash deeply,hsn.com has this one ,http://www.hsn.com/

What kind of face wash can i use for oily skin?

i use Garnier Nutritioniste Face Scrub any other suggestions...?What kind of face wash can i use for oily skin?
I know this seems strange, but you should cleanse your face with oil... castor oil. All you need is the castor oil and a warm to hot washcloth.

Believe it or not, castor oil cleanses and leaves just the right amount of oil on your face. Plus, it will not cause you to break out ONE BIT.

It's very cheap. I think you can get it at CVS. If you can't find it there, try the Vitamin Shoppe.

Good luck and let me know how you like it!

Update: If you feel the need to ';scrub'; then simply add a little baking soda to the castor oil. It's so natural, provides great exfoliation and won't leave you with any breakouts. Thought you'd be interested because you seem to like scrubs (according your the info in the details section of your question). What kind of face wash can i use for oily skin?
If you're looking for stuff you can buy at like Wal-mart I'd go with the Biore line. THey have a whole bunch of stuff that's for oily skin. They're toner is really good at making your face not as shiny fr a god portion of the day.

However, if you go to Sephora or somehwere there's A LOT better stuff.

I got this stuff called RareMinerals from Sephora and it's awesome for oily skin.

Oily skin is actually a blessing though. The oil keeps your skin looking so young though. My mom's skin is way more oily than mine and she's 41 but she still get's carded. It's sweet.
I TOTALLY know where your coming from. This face wash that I use is perfect because it really dries your skin out and for a prolonged period of time. It is called Purpose and you can get it at a Safeway or any drug store. Does the Garnier Nutritioniste Face Scrub work?
St. Ives Apricot Scrub for Blemish and Blackhead prone skin. I had awful, awful skin and have been using it for years, it's the best product I've found. It's about $3.50 at any drug store.

Toner and moisturizer is important, too, though!

..Also, I second the people that have been saying tea tree oil :-)
i've tried body shop's tea tree oil facial wash, neostrata clarifying facial wash and neostrata facial wash..they're pretty reliable but it all comes down to the sensitivity of the skin..
neutrogena pink grapefruit cleanser or anything salylic acid
Desert Essence tea tree oil thouroughly clean face wash.
    I like Wexler Skin Care

Will neutrogena face wash suit all skin type?

i m 27 years old i want to know weather neutrogena face wash will suit all skin typeWill neutrogena face wash suit all skin type?
well, most skin care lines have face washes for each skin type...well most anyways.

but to tell you the truth...neutrogena is one of the best skin care brands out there. their products are gentle and effective.

    plus they smell great! :)

so i'd imagine that it wouldnt hurt to try it.

give it a go, and if it doesnt work for you, or if it makes things worse (which i doubt) than give something else a try. Will neutrogena face wash suit all skin type?
Nothing will suit all skin types, not even proactive. You need to identify your skin type, oily, dry, blackheads, pimples, rosashia, blah blah blah... then go shopping for whatever you need.
usually they do. but i dont find neutrogena very effective. but you know different products for different people

i really like the acnefree line. i definetly felt it work. but probably proactiv too. i just havent tried that yet.Best acne face wash, gentle but effective?
Clean and Clear by Johnson %26amp; Johnsons is good. It makes your skin like not so oily but keeps the good oils. I heard that proactive does not work with everyones skin type. Everyone has a speacially product that works better for them.
Best Acne cleanser by far!!! is Murad Clarifying Cleanser...It has a Light cool feeling when you lather it on your face..You can feel it calming and healing your Acne..it may take 3 weeks for some people to see a difference..and it is by far! better than Proactive! I have used Proactive and it stops working over time and it will Damage your Clothes and towels by the heavy peroxide.

Dr Murads cleanser doesn't have any Peroxide in it.and it is much cheaper! plus, you can also by it in certain stores,so,you don't have to worry about shipping costs!

I use it and it works great! nothing else has but, this does!

Why does your face tingle when you wash it?

1). You're face cleanser is way too unsensitive for your skin or 2). You're scrubbing at your skin rubbing far too much off.

check out natural face cleansing products- i have very sensitive skin and use ';simple'; face wash.

Try to moisturise afterwards too because whatever your using is drying out your skin it can also make it feel tight or itchy. Why does your face tingle when you wash it?
depending on the chemical in the cleanser, you may want to make sure your face is thoroughly wet before using the cleanser, I had the same problem when using a cleanser by Mary Kay and once I started wetting my face thoroughly the tingly stopWhy does your face tingle when you wash it?
Your face shouldnt normally tingle. It's likley you're slightly allergic to whichever product you're using. Try switching to a less chemical based soap specifically designed for sensitive skin.
It means that your face is just fresh and clean.

If it aggravates your skin e.g It leaves itchy rashes then I'd be worried.
There's probably some kind of menthol ingredient in the product you are using.
Yeah mine does that too. I think it's because the pores are clearing out. It's a good thing.
    It doesn't!

    Is this face wash good?

I have Biore pore perfect foaming face wash and I was wondering if it was good for your face or is it bad?Is this face wash good?
I used it and it seemed to work pretty well on my face not leaving it to dried out or anthing. Is this face wash good?
    bior

    is good
    acceptable
hardly any face wash is going to be bad for your skin, but i think that the best would have to be proactive
have a look at the ingredients. look them up on the internet, its amazing what they can get away with. sodium lauryl sulphate, cancer causing agents. i use sense by usana fantastic they have taken out all the bad stuff. for more info www.sharonwhite.usana.com
I use it all the time and it works good for me and I haven't found anything that works better
If it was bad, the FDA wouldn't allow it.
I have used it, and think it is ok...but prefer H20 products....very easy on the skin. Website is like H20+.com
It depends on your skin. If it's for oily skin and you have oily skin then it would be ok. If it's for oily and you have dry skin then don't use it. Read the label...see if that part matches with your skin type.

I heard Biore pore products were good. BUT it iall personal. Even sometimes when the skin type matches sometimes something in the product does not agree with your personal chemistry. Try it.
It really dried my face out but u should test a small section of your face, than determine because everyones skin is different.
i love dove products!! it never dryes out my skin and its always soft and smooth
i think so just dont use proactive it made my face burn, red, and my eyes like close(like i was swinting)
Biore has fantastic products, particularly for acne prone and oily skin. If you want to check out beauty product reviews on Biore products, go to www.palacinka.com. They also have over 1,000 beauty product reviews, so you may find another line that offers similar results. Some other great drugstore brands are Noxzema, Avalon Organics, Olay and Phisoderm.

    Good natural face wash?

whats a good face wash i can make at home using natural ingredients and can be used everyday? ive heard honey is really good but can that be used everyday?Good natural face wash?
A good face-wash I know, would be a mixture of corn startch and rose water, you should mix a moderate amount of each until you get a somewhat thick liquid. You apply the mixture on to your face, keep it on for a couple of minutes, then rinse it off! This can work as an everyday face wash!Good natural face wash?
Honey is good for an everyday face wash but it's also good with cinammon powder and you should put it in the fridge so it could be nice and cold then, before you go to bed put some in your face, and when you wake up wash it with water.

thats all I know for now.
You should try Neutrogena's Oil-Free Face Wash They'tr good I have it.

Yes, just keep your eyes closed. You can also swim and take showers/baths with contacts in if you are able to keep your eyes closed! Heck, I even scuba dive wearing my lenses.
I keep my eyes closed and I'm careful not to get soap in them. If you do, just rinse them carefully, you'll be OK.
If you are wearing soft lenses, then there is no problem what so ever, You can wash your face and if some soap gets in to your eyes, dont panic, wash well with plenty of water, that way even the lenses get cleaned.

My favorite is Clarins they have a wash a toner and a moisture cream it clears me up and i have combanation to oily skin. Good luck!!
Try Volicty for men by Mark Kay. My husband uses it and it is very popular with my customers.
    bar soap
I'd be so happy to introduce you to Proactiv!
Let me start by telling you that oily skin means that in the long run you'll have fewer wrinkles. So, count yourself lucky. You haven't mentioned it, but if you have pimples and you think it is because of oily skin, then it is a myth...there are several other reasons for it.

And after that discourse, on to the answer. Cetrilak medicated soap is drying...it is rather good and can be used all over the body. Other than that the Citron %26amp; Honey face wash gel by Himalaya is also quite good, for the face.
    try Brillo Pads
Try Biotherm, quite a good product for men.
    aloevera face lotion
Nivea for men makes pretty good facial products.

Try some products made by Lush. They're great!

www.lush.comI get dry skin everytime I wash my face?
You should never regular use soap on your face. You need to go to beeroyalproducts.com and get their Vital Gel Creme Cleanser. It is all natural and is made just for your face. Then get the Hydrating Creme Extreme, this is an oil free moisturizer made just for your face.
Are you using a mosturizer? If you are then change your facial wash.
Sounds like you may need a humidifier and maybe apply Vaseline to your face every night before nitey night time
Wash with a hydrating soap. Pure and natural.

Pat dry add a toner. Then a face cream that does not contain any sort of mineral oil product.

I love the Arbonne products they are self adjusting to all skin types and my normally oil/dry t zone isn't that way any longer.

    Drink more water.
this works for skin anywhere if it gets dry after washing/showering. in ur case, apply facial moisturizer to ur face BEFORE washing. then wash ur face and reapply a little bit of moisturizer. repeat this nightly and the skin on ur face should improve within about 1-2 weeks.

the moisturizer before locks in ur skin's existing miosture. when u wash ur face, u remove the day's dirt/oils but not the moisture. reapplying will assure smooth and soft skin.

    hope this helps!!!!
that is the point of facial wash to make your face dry so the oils in your skin wont make you break out
then you are washing your face too often... sometimes and most of the time you do not need to use a facial cleanser... simply use water and message your face for a couple of minutes. it helps the pores and feels good. also, the natural oils in your skin are what actually moisturize... so, occasionally let the oil build up for a day. but anyhow... youre washing too often and using cleanser too frequently. trust me... use water only and you'll start to notice a difference. be sure to message.
    get some face moisturizer!
It sounds like you need to wash your face less and/or find a different facial soap. Many people have the wrong kind of facial soap for their face ';kind';.

3 things that you need to do:

    * Wash your face less - once a day or once every two days

    * Try and find the right sort of facial soap for your ';face kind';

    * Moisturise

It will just be trial and error but you'll get there and find the right kind for your face :)
Well it sounds like your facial soap isn't working so buy a new one or just use soap.Hope this advice works!Bye!
use vaseline intensive care lotion. nothing with fragrence, it will irritate more, just a simple un-frag. lotion or with aloe and or vitiamin a/e.
    use a moisturizer

Is tea tree oil facial wash suppose to make my face worst before it gets better?

It depends on what it is doing. Tea tree can at first bring out the impurites in your skin, but it is also a natural healing agent and will start healing once the impurities are gone. I do this for a living and its common for all the blemishes to come to the surface. If it seems like a rash of some sort, you could be having a reaction to it. Only cleanse twice a day! Good luck!Is tea tree oil facial wash suppose to make my face worst before it gets better?
Hi it can the levels of the ph is obviously too harsh for your skin, just wash you skin in warm salty water for 3 x per day, and pat dry use moisturiser, no oily ones, and you should be fine, as salt is natural, where as tea tree oil is oily and has the highest amount of chemicals in it.

    Good Luck.

Minny :-)Is tea tree oil facial wash suppose to make my face worst before it gets better?
face wash should never make your face WORSE.

maybe you should wait a little bit and switch face wash's and see what happens.

What type of moisture's/face wash.cream is best for pimples, or acne?

yeah just read the title. What type of moisture's/face wash.cream is best for pimples, or acne?
I've been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it's at.

I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.

I'm 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.

Literally the best acne face wash I've ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It's unique cause of it's herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem dot com at the time which was helpful.

You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn't work it will still save you butt on the return policy.

Well good luck and best wishes. What type of moisture's/face wash.cream is best for pimples, or acne?
Use retin A cream once or twice a week on the acne and this will help reduce it. Other days use a light moisturizer depending on ur skin type if oily or dry and add a few drops of tea tree oil to it. Also i love clean %26amp; clear products, their daily scrub for pimple and their moisturizers. All their products are great :) Good luck
If you're not so sensitive to benzoyl peroxide, AcneFree's a good brand. I thought I was, but I tested it on my wrist and it was fine. Noticeable results immediately, and I've been having bad acne lately. Cleared up right before prom--which was the next day. AcneFree also has a line with only salycilic acid, so it works well too. If it dries up the skin too much, try an oil-free moisturizer, and remember to exfoliate, because it causes the skin to heal faster than normal.

    It's available in Fred Meyer's, Walgreen's, etcetera.
Acne care: Clean skin with soapy water or an organic cleanser. You should do this twice a day even when you have no zits. The benzoyl peroxide (10%) creams are the most effective but are very hard on the skin. Creams with tea tree oil (like ones by Thursday Plantation and Sanctum from Australia in the region where the tea tree oil comes from) work nearly as well but do not hurt the skin. They may take 2 or 3 applications to work compared to 1 or 2 for the peroxide. They are found in health food shops in the US.

  • Whn I wash my face, why do I have to ';pat'; it dry?

Why cant I just wipe it dry. Whats the use of patting it dry?Whn I wash my face, why do I have to ';pat'; it dry?
You can just wipe it dry, but patting it ensures that the oil in your skin is not spread or wiped around any more than it absolutely has to be.

Dr. James Jeah MDWhn I wash my face, why do I have to ';pat'; it dry?
Patting is gentler on the skin. When you pat dry, the moisture and any surface dirt/oil are lifted off your skin and onto the towel. If you wipe dry, you're more likely to spread the oil and dirt around, and push it into your pores.
repetitive rubbing will strecth your face and you will get wrinkles sooner. always pat dry
Rubbing can make your skin raw.
you cant wipe it dry because you'll be rough to your skin and that defeats the purpose of washing it in the first place. by patting it, you're being gentle to your skin.

remember, your skin is the most sensitive organ so take care of it.
Because wiping your skin with a towel is sometimes harsh on your skin. Patting it dry doesn't remove skin cells.

This is the best thing I've ever used! My skin feels soooo soft and it deeply cleans your pores and its amazing! I love it and you don't have to use it 24/7 for it to work!

Anything Neutrogena is amazing. I love the brand!

I have been using oxy for a week or two and so far it's been great. However I would not recommend using ANY clean%26amp;clear product. I used 3 of there products on and off throughout last year and I found it made my skin oily/shiny and din't get rid of any acne, but that is just for me though.
The combination of Tea Tree Oil soap and the Clindamycin cream is the best for Acne and pimple.

For acne scars and blemishes my wife lighten them up using papaya kojic and licorice base soap and cream which are available online. These work wonders. Maybe it will work on you too. Try searching it through Google 'shopaholic's bargains'

My fave is a St Ives Blemish and Blackhead Apricot Scrub. I use is everyday... it's like 3.50 a tube. I swear by it. I've recently started back using a toner. I think you should use one as well. I believe that could help with your pores. You'd have to find one of those that best fit your skin type though. Seabreeze was a good one when I was younger.
    Neutrogena oil-free acne wash

    perfect for oily acne-prone skin
    proactive helps me
    * Wash your face twice a day (thrice at most) with gentle and unperfumed cleanser. Avoid using soaps as they contain harsh chemicals and ingredients that can damage your skin.

    * Avoid touching your face. Stop putting your hands by your face! I am often guilty of this resting my hand on the side of my head while reading. Also rubbing or bracing your chin is another common problem when thinking. Avoid rubbing, touching, or itching your skin with your hands. Your hands contain a lot of bacteria that can cause acne flare-ups. It is probably one of the most difficult things to avoid since much of the hand to face contact throughout the day we are unconscious of. Make it a habit to avoid hand contact and be conscious of it during the day to avoid bacteria.

    * Avoid the temptation to pick, prick and squeeze your acne. This will send the infection deeper into the skin and can cause severe scarring.

    * For mild to moderate acne, you can use over- the- counter topical ointments, solutions, lotions or gels that contain salicylic acid or azelaic acid as an alternative to benzoyl peroxide. Resorcinol, salicylic acid, and sulfur help break down blackheads and whiteheads. Salicylic acid also helps cut down the shedding of cells lining the follicles of the oil glands.

    * Topical antibiotic solutions and lotions can also be applied.

    * Tea tree oil is a natural antibiotic and antibacterial agent and has a drying effect on the skin. It keeps the P. Acnes bacteria at bay along with decreasing facial oiliness, which makes this oil a worthwhile investment.

    * Sulfur helps to heal existing blemishes by unblocking pores.

    * Alpha or Beta Hydroxy Acids (AHA or BHA) works by keeping the skin exfoliated. Glycolic acid, the most well-known of the bunch is a useful adjuvant therapy for mild acne. Mandelic acid, a lesser known one, but one that combines the keratolytic properties of glycolic acid with natural antibacterial properties that help reduce the presence of P. acnes, may be considered a more effective alpha hydroxy acid in treating acne lesions. It is also much less irritating than glycolic acid, a factor that may be very important to those with sensitive skin who are unable to use other agents such as Retin-A, benzoyl peroxide, sulfur, or salicylic acid. It is effective in treating mild cases of acne on its own, and can be used successfully with other therapies on moderate acne.

These treatments are usually effective for mild to moderate acne problems only.

Whats The Difference Between A Mask vs A Face Wash?

    http://www.drugstore.com/qxp20971_333181_sespider/freeman/facial_clay_mask_avocado_and_oatmeal_purifying.htm

idk im a guy and i need a face wash but i got told by a female that maybe i should just buy a clay maskWhats The Difference Between A Mask vs A Face Wash?
The mask is to open your pores and take the dirt out of your face. You can't use it everyday because that might make your pores enlarge. Face wash should be used daily. I think you should buy the face wash, since its a stable for maintaining good hygiene on the face.Whats The Difference Between A Mask vs A Face Wash?
A mash you apply to your face and leave it on for a period of time. This is good for purifying the skin.

I find a wash is something to use more frequently, while a mask maybe once a week. Masks can be effective if you get the right one. I'd say use both.
    buy the face wash

it's faster to use, daily use, takes 1 minute
buy the wash. it will last longer

use shanz husan's anticaptic lotion and face wash its very different because its all products made by harbal
i wouldn't use Olay. It is made for aging skin that lacks moisture. I'd start trying clean and clear oxygenating wash if you can get it. It doesn't overdry and gets your face clean. Dont use a moisturizer that has oils...use an oil free.

Using a scrub once a week is always healthy. It could be becoming red because it has retin A.
as u hav oily skin plz avoid scrubbin.. dont use oily creams or lotions which tends to make ur skin more oily.. use home mede face packs like multani mitti which helps to reduce oil secretion and use tomato juice as toner.. and wash ur face twice a day wit a medicated soap.. u can use cucumber juoce als..

how about use a oil control toner and use also a nature method of cleansing some u can find it in the kitchen like oatmeal put that in our face for about 15 minutes or cucumber. cucumber has a nature extract that clean our deep skin and also it take our dry make our skin smooth and clean..some times to much face wash it make our skin dry and dull...
i would suggest using facial scrubs or other products for oily skin. the same product isn't neccisarily right for everyone. expirement, you never know what your skin needs until you've tried.

After I wash my face it is very red on my cheeks, nose, and forhead around 5 minutes the redness calms down?

Why does my face do this? After I wash my face it is very red on my cheeks, nose, and forhead around 5 minutes the redness calms down?
It's normal for your skin to redden a little. When you wash you're stimulating blood circulation and that's what's causing your face to pinken up. Make sure though not to scrub too hard, that won't do anything but irritate, stimulate more oil production and possibly damage delicate tissues. also make sure the water you're using isn't too hot, that too can make your skin more red. After I wash my face it is very red on my cheeks, nose, and forhead around 5 minutes the redness calms down?
the rubbing is bringing blood to your skin and so is hot water/steam. If you want to avoid it wash with cooler water and don't scrub so hard. It also sounds like you might be dry after, try putting on a nice, mild unscented moisturizer.
don't worry about it, it is just because when you rub your face while washing it you are bringing your blood vessels up towards the skin

a very very effective face wash is cetaphil....its soo very mild that will make ur skin soo soft.u can find it in any medical store also.in case of toner i too have oily skin and i use nivea toner after using a lot of toners atlast it worked on my skin.

it has little alchohol......but its soo mild that it will not at all dry ur face instead will maintain ur ph balance that take the extra oil.

at last u need a oil free moisturizer.....i use venesua. i dont no where u can find it.u can better use oil free creamMy problem is my oily skin.these days i am using olay face wash but of no use.my skin is also sensitive.tell?
Let's face it all these commercial products are

chemical based and can be injurious to you as

you have observed your face becomes red after

using these products. Why not go for freshly prepared

on a daily basis a home made product. All you have

to do is take a cup of besan (bengal gram flour -

channa ka atta) add one teaspoonful of turmeric (haldi)

powder, further add half a lemon juice. Now to this

mixture add as much water so that it forms a paste.

Now apply this paste not only on your face but your whole

body and wait for atleast 20 minutes before you wash.

If possible repeat in the evening (but if it is not possible

to take bath again) by applying it to the face only (but

freshly prepared mixture not anything balance from the

morning lot). Within a months time you will not only see

getting rid of oily face but you will have a dazzling glow

to your whole body. Meantime throughout the day do try

to wash the face with herbal soap containing natural

ingredients like neem and tulsi etc., to wash the excess

oil from your face. Lastly include in your meals a platefull

of salads with no oily dressing except lemon and honey

combination over it. Do also include fresh fruit in season

to enhance the effect and see the results for yourself.

    Good luck.
face wash: cetaphill or dove sensitive skin facial cleanser.

Try using Dove Soap for oily skin.
An oily skin , as the name implies, is one in which the sebaceous or oil-producing glands are over active. As surface grease tends to attract dirt, an oily skin acquires a dirty surface film , that needs to be removed daily. For more details log to http://useinfo-oilyskin.blogspot.com/

Well I could recomend ARBONNE. They have a great line and what is best is that they are botanically based, hypoallergenic, formulated without mineral oil (2nd worse thing for your skin) and formulated without animal products. I just love them because you can feel the diference fast, when you use the wash you get all makeup, and dirt out and your skin feel just great without drying it. Using products formulated with mineral oil is just like putting car oil on and exposing your self to the sun.... that is why it is the 2nd worse thing for your skin (#1 being the sun) and using animal products is #1 gross because animal products come from rendering plants, these plants pick all dead animals and put them in a huge pot, smash everything, boil it and the oil that comes above is what other companies use to elaborate their products. So you are the one to decide, at least this is why I use ARBONNE, I found all of this so gross..... I shop online at: https://secure.myarbonne.com/arbonne/arb鈥?/a> and if I have any questions a girl named Melida helps me out, she is a sweetie.... and to top everything if I am not satisfied with something all I have to do is ask for a money back and return the item, haven't had that problem yet but it is great, if you go a an estee lauder counter what they say is sorry we do not accept used products.....
SERIOUS SKIN CARE honestly changed the apperance of my skin!
Hi, go to www.wonderful.myarbonne.com They have complete line of cleansing products that work great! They are pure, safe and beneficial. They have no animal by-products and never tested on animals. I have been using their RE9 line for a month now and I always had zits around my mouth no matter what. After the first two weeks of use my mouth is cleared up. The RE9 is for mature skin, but they have their Intelligence Line for 16-30 age group or their Clear Advantage for those fighting acne.

I use Neutrogena products- a cream cleanser, an alcohol free toner, and a moisturizer for sensitive skin twice a day. For about $20, these items last me at least 2 months.
    you should get the best
use ivory soap, noxema, and stridex pads to clean the oily parts of the face---don't get your face too dry

Do you wash your face/remove your makeup every night before bed?

HECK YAH!!!!!Do you wash your face/remove your makeup every night before bed?
Not always. but it is a good idea. I usually sleep in my makeup and wash my face in the morning. If you have dry skin, make sure not to over wash and if oily wash atleast in the am and in the pm. NEVER put makeup on over old makeup. It causes breakouts and the color doesn't look as goodDo you wash your face/remove your makeup every night before bed?
Yes always!!! Take it from a 55yr. old, start taking care of your skin while you are young. Clean it thoroughly and start using eye and face creams. An ounce of prevention is worth 100 lbs. of cure!!!!
I try to as much as possible, sometimes I'll be too tired and forget. But most of the time I do. I don't wear face makeup, just eye makeup. So I don't wash my face, just remove what is on my eyes.
Most of the time i do yes. If i am too tired to actually wash it i just use water to get most of the make up off.
Yeah...it's a really great way to make sure your face doesn't break out, PLUS it makes me feek better...cause I just feel cleaner.
YES!! you should to give your face a break and not get it all over your pillow case as well!
yes when i wear makeup. Do you????
    GOD YES!!!

    do you??

Good face wash for very sensitive skin?

My skin is pretty dry and so I cant use alot of face washes cause there mostly ment for oily skin.

Also im allergic to almost all the face washes I try.

I did try proactive, but it took wayyy too long to complete all the steps and plus it left dry, red patches all over my face. And it ran out fast. Oh ya, it was really expensive too!

So i need a face wash that doesn't take to long to use and is for skin that tends to be allergic to alot. (I find stuff with perfume in it im allergic to alot).

Can you recomend anything? (thats not too expensive)

THAnksGood face wash for very sensitive skin?

maybe a very natural soap with no artificial colors bought at the health food store,. I always liked plain glycerine soap.
cetaphil. it works WONDERS for sensitive skin :) and it is not expensive at all! you can get it almost anywhere ( target, walgreens, walmart, etc) good luck!
I have very sensitive skin too.

I have found Ice Elements to be a great facial cleanser.

You can buy it cheaper through Home Shopping Network
umm clearsil is really good. (even tho its 4 acne.) it works really good. Clinique, is really good stuff it is what i use now, its super good, its not that expensive.
Dove has some really good washes that are made for sensitive skin, but if you find that those still upset your skin you may just want to try washing your wash with an unscented natural soap with a wash cloth. If none of those work and you are still concerned about your skin you may need to go to a dermatologist or if you find that to expensive at your next check up with your normal doctor you could ask him or her what the recommend. They may have not gone to school directly on skin but they still have to take care of theirs and the probably know some dermatologist and could have picked up some tricks from them. Well i hope you find something for your skin that works if this doesn't!!! %26lt;33

I need a good face wash help please?

I don't have any acne but my face is really oily and i need a great ace wash that wouldn't leave my face dry. I tried clean and clear but it doesn't work for me .... help pleaseI need a good face wash help please?
I like the Neutrogena acne wash, all the Neutrogena facial soaps work really well and make your skin feel so clean and good. The foaming kind is good too. It cleans up my oily/shiny patches and smells nice. I don't like Clean and Clear anywhere near as much.I need a good face wash help please?
I had your problem too, accept for the oily skin. Here is a clean routine I've been using for about a year, that really works. Before you go to bed, and right when you wake up, trythis, rinse your face with warm water, then cleanse it with Oil Free Acne Wash from Neautrogena, it really worked for me, even if you dont have acne, it prevents acne, and keeps your skin clean and fresh. Then afterwards, dab you face dry with a washlcloth. Then apply some toner, Neautrogena Alcohol-Free toner, really works, it especially helps with oils skin. Right afterwards, you can put on a very thin layer of facial lotion, so that your face doesnt dry and get irrated, this is a great cleansing routine, that realy works for me :)

    Hope this helps :)
Most Cleanser use chemical surfactants to clean oil. Chlorella Gel Cleanser works in different way. It use green algae to absorb oil out of skin pores and dissolve it. Besides, Chlorella Gel Cleanser containing vitamins Carotene, chlorophyll, amine acids, proteins, SOD enzyme, alga polysaccharides, and can care skin simultaneously.
I think Clearasil works pretty well. I've been using it for some time now and it really helped my face, like it's clear no pimples maybe a few. But when you do use it just let it sit for a while and then wash it.
Ok, the perfect oil free face wash is Neutrogena Rapid Clear Oil-Eliminating Foaming Cleanser!!!!! Just wash when you wake up, and when you go to bed. Oh yeah, it smells soooooo good!!
Neutrogena oil free face wash recommended by my dermatologist
Philosophy get it from QVC . IT is great.

Lots of people say proactive.... but for many people proactive doesnt work, it just dries up their skin to much.....it may still be worth a try. Also you could try the neutrogena line for acne................

The clean and clear new acne stuff is sopposed to have 100% better results so that may be good to.

Lastly, i know this is kinda expencive, but hey it works the best..... arbonne clear skin line.......i know many people who have or use it and nobody has ever not liked it....

you can go to drugstore dot com for any of the other ones, and for the arbonn clear skin line go to https://www.arbonne.com/shop_online/show鈥?/a>What is the best face wash for acne?
I have had pretty bad acne and I think a really good face wash is Neutrogena Deep Clean. It doesn't dry your face out too much but it still works really well. For more severe acne I would use Acne Free which is kind of like Proactiv except more gentle and less expensive and can be found at any drugstore.
Proactiv! When I was using it I had gotten alot of compliments. People told me I was pretty and I had such a glowing face. I had never heard that before until I started to using proactiv. It makes your skin look like baby skin and it also tones at the same time. It's great!
water only that stuff works a little but irritates it in the long run so you have to continue using it. Go without for a few weeks and wash your face with warm water and a soft cloth, dont scrub either.
In my opinion, I find that all the Neutrogena products are excellent.

Mild on the skin, but very effective.

But honestly we all have different skin and we all react differently. Its probably best to try a few out b4 you settle on one.

    good luck.
proactiv, it works great and is recomended by dermotologists

Why doesn't bareMinerals come off when I wash my face?

There is always a lot left and I don't know why. I wash my face the way I am supposed to do...Why doesn't bareMinerals come off when I wash my face?
Try using a makeup remover first, like a baby wipe then try to wash your face as normal. If that doesn't work then they have daily gentle exfoliators that you can use like clean and clear or st. ives ...they really get the makeup off! If that still doesn't help you can try something like the clarisonic, you can purchase one at Ulta...or for a much cheaper alternative use something like the wave from neutragena. Why doesn't bareMinerals come off when I wash my face?
you should take your makeup off separately..duh. clean %26amp; clear makes a foaming makeup remover that works really well..I use bare minerals as well. also, a toner will help to remove the rest of what your cleanser didn't and traces of the cleanser that water didn't wash off. bare minerals REALLY is not hard to wash off at all.

Does simple soap prevent acne or should i just wash my face only with water or even wash my face at all?

do not use soap on your face full stop! soap can leave a residue (spelling sorry) on your skin, this can block the pores.. causing acne/spots..

just straight forward warm water and a clean cloth is all you need. the cloth will wipe away dead skin from the surface.. always a clean cloth or just throw water on your face and wipe off with a clean towel... alway clean. clean pillow cases ect will also keep acne at bayDoes simple soap prevent acne or should i just wash my face only with water or even wash my face at all?
If you suffer from acne, you probably have sensitive, oily skin - soap will only make this worse, as it dries out the skin, which then produces more oil to compensate.

You'd be better off with a mild soap-free face wash - there's loads on the market, and supermarket own-brands are good if you're on a budget. Cleansing face wipes for sensitive skin are also an option.

Whatever you choose, you want your skin to feel comfortable after washing, not tight, and you could try a moisturier for men, for oily skin, Loreal do some really good ones, (look for one that says its 'mattifying') to combat the oiliness if that is a problem for you.

Finally, if the acne becomes a real problem, visit your GP, as sometimes you can be prescribed medication that can help.Does simple soap prevent acne or should i just wash my face only with water or even wash my face at all?
You need to get a cleanser, toner and moisturiser. Soap will make the skin too dry and cause the skin to produce excess oil to over compensate causing more spots. You need to use the correct products for your skin type. However, a good general cleanser i find is Elemis sensitive cleansing wash, it is great for balancing your skin out.
I have found Dove soap is the best cleanser, even after trying some expensive brands. Then if you do get a spot, apply neat tea-tree oil. Moisturise every night, (I use Oil of Olay which I find is great as it soaks right in and doesn't leave a greasy residue.)

Try to avoid fried or processed foods, eat a healthy balanced diet, get your 5 a day and drink plenty of water.
When I suffered from acne, the G.P. told me every 2years or

so, that I'd ';grow out'; of it!.At 22, no difference to be seen, but was told by someone when I was unmarried at 18, that

the only thing to cure it was having a baby!Thought that remedy a bit drastic, but having had a baby, when married, it did indeed stop the worst. It is U'r hormones, %26amp; diet, that are playing U up!
    not alot does,

but if you drink lots of milk i suggest you don't because this will make it worse :\

also washing your face a lot will take the natural oils/nutrient things out your skin and dry it out (:

but still wash your face because if you didn't, eww.
Hi, there was a really good program on last night called embarrasing bodies and it had a whole section on acne, it had some really good tips so i'd recommend watching that on channel 4 (they have some sort of iplayer thingy on channel4.com i think).

It said that you defo should not drink milk and thats all I remembered because I dont suffer from it!

    good luck! x
Yes, soap does help, because it cleans the excess oil off your face and out of your pores! If you have dry skin, use a moisturizing face soap, but ifyour skin is oily, use oil free products.
I think soap gives you dry skin. Best to have a look for something in the shops...doesn't have to be expensive. I think if ur gunna get acne you'll get it wether you clean your face or not to be fair
I find that using soap (or infact any kind of products\face masks etc) on my face makes me break out in spots so I just use water. Try using just water and see if it makes a difference.
you shouldn't use just regular soap...use cetaphil 2 wash your face and it should help to clear up your skin after a few days...that is what I use and it always helps me
nothing PREVENTS acne, spots are due to hormones, although soap isnt that good for you as it dries the skin out
use a facial cleaner. its much less harsh than soap and wont dry your skin out.
nothing can prevent acne, proactive use it
You should get a soap for your face. It will help keep it free of oils.
no does fire get rid of rats oxymoron use stridex medicated pads and avoid choclates
you shouLd get a soap bUt use a mild s0ap that fits to your face....
you need to get a spot/acne treament kit they work and soap just drys out your skin

Is it ok if i use neutrogena to wash my face then apply benzaclin?

Is it ok if i use neutrogena oil-free to wash my face then apply benzaclin?

neutrogena alone worked before but then my acne started coming back. then i got benzaclin, used it alone but my acne was still there.. i tried washing my face with the dove soap then i applied the benzaclin it actually worked but then my skin started to dry out so i stopped. since i used to use neutrogena...

is it okie if i use the neutrogena jst to clean my face like i did with the dove soap be4 and apply benzaclin on my face??Is it ok if i use neutrogena to wash my face then apply benzaclin?
Sure. Of course. Use any mild, non-pore clogging cleanser you like. If dryness is an issue, wait awhile and apply a non-pore clogging moisturizer like Cetaphil, Neutrogena, Purpose, etc.

If you keep breaking out, see if it is around the time of your period, stress, etc. Call your doc or dermatologist and let them know so they can advise you on how to best keep your acne clear.

As far as cleansers for your face go, if you use a cleanser that has acne med in it, you will be even more dry. Other than that, don't sweat it.Is it ok if i use neutrogena to wash my face then apply benzaclin?
I've done that before you just have to be careful so it don't dry your skin out.
    definitely
