One eyelid does not close completely so when I wash my face, water gets in. What's the cause/solution?
I first noticed that the top eyelid was not closing completely after I got some water and some kind of soap in this eye. I've seen an opthalmologist and tried eyedrops to no avail. The top eyelid feels puffy but it doesn't show. When I close it tight it feels like the top lid is turning inside out and water still gets in.One eyelid does not close completely so when I wash my face, water gets in. What's the cause/solution?

* Mix Cornstarch With Vinegar, make a paste and apply on the area for 15-30 minutes; wash off with washcloth and warm water, this helps to get rid whiteheads.
* Make a paste of sandalwood with rose water. Apply on affected area. Wash it off after 20-30 minutes with lukewarm water.
* Mix 1 tablespoon groundnut oil with 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice to prevent formation of whiteheads and pimples.
I think netrogena is great. But depending on your skin type the results may differ good or bad. Just remember if you get the product, when you use is rub the cream in a circular motion on your face. Better outcome.

Cetaphil is definitely a classic. I would suggest this, for no hassle, no worries. If you want to branch out, try Tangerine Dream by Rachel Perry. I use it and swear by it. I have to buy it on ebay and wait for it, but its worth it.What is the best face wash?

i wash my face with just water wierd but true and i have flawless skin try in for a few weeks and see the diff if its dry just put a thin layer of lotion on your face before you apply make up every one always asks me what i use! when in the shower just let the water run on your face and rub with hands!!! think about what all is in face wash
use one for breakouts then buy some moisturier with aloe vera in it and use it twice a day- easy peasy!
get a sauna, works great for your skin and is healthy.

Never over-wash (anything more than twice a day). It will strip away all of the natural oils, and make your skin so dry that it will over-compensate by producing even MORE oil, and thus ,more acne.

Once in the am and once in the evening befor bed is best. Also keeping your hair if its long off of your face while sleeping is reccomended and changing your pillow case every other day as well. The Body Shop has a good line of products with tea tree oil, which is a natural anti-bacterial agent and will really help with acne. Most malls around my area seem to have a Body Shop, but if yours doesn't, try www.thebodyshop.com
I also like the face washes/cleansers from Lush (www.lush.com). Their products are all natural, and there's lots that are designed to help with acne. Try their ';Fresh Farmacy'; soap--I love it! They don't have a whole lot of store locations, so your best bet would be to get it on line.

I also used a facial scrub once or twice a week, st. ives apricot scrub. Find one that gently cleanses for sensitive skin and prone to acne breakouts. Start by eliminating trans fats and eating more fruits and vegetables. * 1st wet your face
* Then squirt a half-dollar size dollop of Burt's Bees Deep Pore Cleansing Scrub into your palms
* Blend the scrub in your hands and then scrub deeply into your face
* After Scrubbing rinse your face
* Then take a dollop of Burt's Bees Deep Cleansing Cream and rub it all over your face
* Then let it sit for a minute and then rinse your face
* Do this daily and your pesky blackheads will disappear
**Sea Salt Remedy**
* First get a box of sea salt and a jar of Aveno Moisturizing Cream
* Then take a tablespoon of mosturizer and mix it with 2 teapoons of sea salt
* Take this mixture and scrub your face and then rinse
**Brown Sugar Remedy**
* Just take 3 tablespoons of brown sugar and rub into face and rinse.

If you use a really strong rubbing alcohol that's like 90 or 99% than you may want to dilute it by adding water or get some that's not as concentrated, like 50% to 60% so that it won't dry out your skin. I uses it all the time to clean my face with and it helps keeps my skin pretty much acne free.
I use proactiv and i don't have any zits or anything. It works great! Here's the site below.

About the tangeling, u need to brush him at least once per day. We bathe our Shih tzu once a week

I have had this problem and toners and exfoliators make it worse. I had really good luck with just old Oil of Olay Sensitive Skin face wash. I also LOVE Origins 'a perfect world' skin protectant. If I put that on right out of the shower it takes the red out. An added bonus is that it is also used as a skin prep for makeup...so whether you put makeup on or not, your skin is super soft and smooth!
I would suggest Cliniques 3 Step, has face wash which removes the dirt/oil from our face then the clairiftying lotion which is like an exfoliation to get rid of the dead skin cells/flakiness and finally the moisturizer which is adding back the equal balance of water/oil ratio we just removed using it will even out your skin tone and get rid of the bloctheyness. They also have this realy cool thing called the Turnaround Concentrate which evens out skin tone, makes the face feel really silky and look radiante it is so awesome! best of luck with everything!

Yes I love the papaya enzyme skincare line by Bee Luscious Cosmetics it is amazing I recommend the wash,toner and exfoliating scrub for the full benefits. You will love all their products.
I have had this problem and toners and exfoliators make it worse. I had really good luck with just old Oil of Olay Sensitive Skin face wash. I also LOVE Origins 'a perfect world' skin protectant. If I put that on right out of the shower it takes the red out. An added bonus is that it is also used as a skin prep for makeup...so whether you put makeup on or not, your skin is super soft and smooth!
I would suggest Cliniques 3 Step, has face wash which removes the dirt/oil from our face then the clairiftying lotion which is like an exfoliation to get rid of the dead skin cells/flakiness and finally the moisturizer which is adding back the equal balance of water/oil ratio we just removed using it will even out your skin tone and get rid of the bloctheyness. They also have this realy cool thing called the Turnaround Concentrate which evens out skin tone, makes the face feel really silky and look radiante it is so awesome! best of luck with everything!
Me and my sister use the skin care product by clinque. I absolutely love it! my skin is also uneven, and im so happy with it. i think it works better than proactive. it can be a bit pricey, but 50$ at the most i think

They make several, one is a foaming face wash, and one is an acne face wash which has a more clear consistency, and there is a clear astringent toner to match after cleansing. Because of my Italian heritage, even in my 40s, I still get some acne bumps here and there, and this stuff works great. I have used these products for over 15 years, and they do not overdry your skin at all. This is what I suggest and no I did not just copy and paste this from some random website, I have actually tried all of this and yes, it works amazingly great =]
1. Do you have oily/combination or dry/flaky skin?
-For oily/combination. Use a 3 step system such as AcneFree, Clinique, or Proactive. Salicylic acid seems the best for oily/combination skin because it's stronger but it doesn't leave your skin feeling dry. I use Clinique 3 step system (I bought it two months ago) and I am seeing great results as such for the oily skin and my mild acne.
-For dry/flaky skin. I suggest you use benzoyl peroxide, its much gentler for drier skin and will leave your skin feeling moisturized and smooth. Also use SPF moistruizer everyday after cleansing and toning your skin.
2. Use a honey and banana mask 2-3 times a week. Take a little bit of honey and little peices of banana and massage it all together on your face, let it tighten yoru skin for 10 minutes, then risne off with luke warm water and then cold water. It will help prevent breakouts from occuring. After you rinse tha toff, take some clean and clear persa gel 10 (works great!) and dab a little on the pimples/zits you have. Do thsi before going to bed, next morning, rinse off and I swear your skin will feel and look amazing.
3. Do not eat much junk food (its ok to eat every once in awhile but not so much) because base from ym epxerince, I brokeout a lot from greasy foods like pizza, burgers, chips, soda, etc.
4. For bacne, I suggest scrubing your back every morning and night with Netruogena acne body wash. I use to use it and it works failry good, you will notice results in a week ro two.

i suggest not using the clean and clear, proactiv or neutregena. While using them, sure, some acne dissappears, but once you stop using it, even if it's only for a day, the acne comes back 2x worse. I use aveeno facial wash, it's very gentle, and it makes yr skin radiant. If you stop using it for a while, you DO NOT break out.
Also, if you have a very bad acne problem,
buy the proactiv refining mask.
Dab a little on yr problem zits,
leave it on overnight, and in the morning, the redness is usually gone, and it's much less noticable.

My overall favorite is Shu Uemura oil--you can use it even with oily skin or dry skin but the main thing is it dissolves all makeup without clogging pores and without making you feel oily afterwards. It is a miracle non-oily oil.
Scrubs are good too and when I want one, I use Dermadoctor Physical Chemistry--it dissolves dead skin and blackheads practically on contact, and leaves a non-drying residue that makes the skin look more radiant in the morning.
(I also use the free ones that you get in a ';purchase with purchase'; --everything from Clinique to Estee Lauder, and I've also gone to the drug store and tried generic brands, but none of them have been better for me than the two above.)
