After I wash my face it is very red on my cheeks, nose, and forhead around 5 minutes the redness calms down?

Why does my face do this? After I wash my face it is very red on my cheeks, nose, and forhead around 5 minutes the redness calms down?
It's normal for your skin to redden a little. When you wash you're stimulating blood circulation and that's what's causing your face to pinken up. Make sure though not to scrub too hard, that won't do anything but irritate, stimulate more oil production and possibly damage delicate tissues. also make sure the water you're using isn't too hot, that too can make your skin more red. After I wash my face it is very red on my cheeks, nose, and forhead around 5 minutes the redness calms down?
the rubbing is bringing blood to your skin and so is hot water/steam. If you want to avoid it wash with cooler water and don't scrub so hard. It also sounds like you might be dry after, try putting on a nice, mild unscented moisturizer.
don't worry about it, it is just because when you rub your face while washing it you are bringing your blood vessels up towards the skin
