I wash my face with Neutrogena scrub and my acne is still out of control. HELP!?

Maybe my face is over producing oil is response to the excessive drying. Do I need to ';moisturize';? What's up? I'm almost 27 and I've had acne since 13 and I need it to quit!I wash my face with Neutrogena scrub and my acne is still out of control. HELP!?
i saw a dermotologist and got pills that took it away and it never came back. since then i use dial gold antibacterial soap on my face, and if one does pop up, i put clearisil cream on it overnite. pat you face dry, dont rub...rubbing spreads oilI wash my face with Neutrogena scrub and my acne is still out of control. I know this may sound weird but I have relation who did this and it worked wonders. He is also in his twenties. He washed his face twice a day with toothpaste-never scrubbed, just rubbed and rinsed. He did not need to use a moiturizer and it cleared up his skin. Good luck.

Use baking soda as a scrub... I've been and it works GREAT!!! It dries up the skin so I use moisturizer. Also I use liquid hand soap and sometimes dish soap on my face along with the baking soda and it works well...

I have acne too and this works for me: put some boiling water in a container, tilt your head and top of it and put a towel on your head so that the heat does not escape between your face and water. This is affective as it opens your pores and so when you wash your face, you not only clear the exterior of your skin but also in the pores! (ps. it's dirty pores that give you acne so it's quite effective and I'm talking through experience) However this isn't enough with most acne! Buy some surgical spirit (very cheap and easy to find), pour some on some cotton wool and dab on your face but only the oily part like your T zone! I also wash my face with simple deep cleanser since it cleans tones and moisturizes! Hope I helped! Good luck!
