Can you use baking soda to wash your face?

baking soda or soda bicarbonate is extremely abraisive. Thats why it's in toothpaste... to help scrub gunk off ur teeth. Think what it would do to the skin on your face. Not to mention it is extremely drying. U can mix a tiny bit into a paste to dry outt pimples but other than that no way.Can you use baking soda to wash your face?
I wouldn't recommend it because it will seriously dry out your skin. Can you use baking soda to wash your face?
Sure..Why no? It'll neutralize any acids on your skin.
yes. I read recently that you can use it to gently exfoliate your skin.
oh no....tat will damage ur skin
angelbug171 is right!

It tightens the pores, exfoliates the skin and over time removes blackheads.

Put a tea spoon of the baking soda in your hand with some water (not too much) and massage gently on your face. Sit down with it on for 30 seconds and rinse it off like you would by using an exfoliator.

And use a good toner afterwards.

Dont do it everyday.

Once or twice a week.

There are better home remedies then that.

And there are quite a few decent face cleansers out there.

But some are just as harsh!

:]
Sounds pretty harsh if you ask me - and you did.
Why would you want to? There are tons of things you can use that actually help your skin so skip the baking soda.
Ouch!
Sure! and you can wash your face in turpentine but that doesn't mean its good for you either.
i have used this for years...yes, it dries your face out a little but a moisturizer will take of any dry spots. i used to break out and i had clogged pores everywhere, and this took care of it. you can also use 1 part of apple cider vinegar to 2 parts water as a toner. it draws out the impurities and gives you a rosy glow.
Yes it works great and if you want a toner that's not harsh and inexpensive try Witch Hazel.

Good Luck
The skin on your face is vary delicate %26amp; baking soda will make your face brake out with pimples %26amp; blackheads.
